Place at kitchen table set for Tony Windsor at #Inditalks feast: @jansant reports

Voices For Indi (V4I), the group that helped Cathy McGowan MP (@Indigocathy) win the Victorian seat of Indi, will hold  fresh rounds of “kitchen table conversations” at two events over the weekend. The events which are booked out will be held in Swanpool (Saturday) and Yackandandah (Sunday) in North Eastern Victoria. The events are called IndiTalks. Former federal independent member for New England Tony Windsor (@TonyHWindsor) will attend both events along with Dr Simon Longstaff AO (@SimonLongstaff), Executive Director of the St James Ethics Centre. The constituents of Indi understand the Coalition’s tactics better than most. In the 2013 election, voting booths were postered, sometimes for 100s of metres in either direction, with negative, dramatic signs warning people not to vote Independent. It didn’t work. People grew tired of the negativity of the Mirabella campaign and voted overwhelmingly in support of change. Indi’s grassroots QandA, with hashtag: @Jansant reports

It was a night full of passion and at times fire as the candidates battled it out in front of a capacity crowd of more than 300. The #IndiVotes hash tag was displayed on a big screen for the event and the night was broadcast throughout Southern NSW, North East Victoria and the Goulburn Valley.
