I wish I could say something optimistic on that front. I’m a very cynical person and I feel that a lot of politicians, particularly the ones in the major parties, make decisions for just about everything based on what they think they need to do to gain political advantage.
The idea a $20 a week Jobseeker increase is based on anything other than, I don’t know, maybe, maybe we should do that … … seemingly quite random, quite inconsistent and very incoherent ideas that have been thrown out there around cost of living relief and welfare policy
