Margo Kingston is a retired Australian journalist and climate change activist. She is best known for her stint as Phillip Adams’ ‘Canberra Babylon’ contributor and her work at The Sydney Morning Herald and #Webdiary. Since 2012, Kingston has been a citizen journalist, reporting and commenting on Australian politics via Twitter and No Fibs.

Margo: a special treat for me, our first pod in 2024 is my chat with Jan Bowman, one of the first No Fibs citizen journos. For the 2013 federal election she dipped her toe in to report the seat of Griffith, the Brisbane seat she’d recently moved into from South Australia and then Labor’s safest Queensland seat. A decade later she retired as editor of her local CJ paper The Westender.
