Queensland general election has been called for January 31, 2015

Premier Campbell Newman has called a snap general election for January 31, 2015. Unlike other states which have fixed four year terms, Queensland has three years flexible allowing the Premier to choose the timing of elections.

The LNP and The Courier Mail are running a campaign that Labor has no policies. Listing of Labor’s policies can be found here, “Labor’s 2015 Election Policies”.
