IN THIS No Fibs episode I talk with Phil Haines and Lesley Howard, two of the 12 authors of the recently published book, THE INDI WAY.
“THE INDI WAY is a revealing account of a community using values-based, respectful processes to rewrite the political playbook. Featuring contributions by @helenhainesindi, @latingle, @barriecassidy, @Indigocathy, and more.”
Scribe Publications
Phil, a founding and continuing member of Voices for Indi, is a central figure throughout the Indi story. He was the campaign manager for all four successful federal independent election campaigns in Indi and is married to the current Member for Indi, Helen Haines.
Lesley is a contributor on No Fibs, does most of the sub editing and over the years has taken an increasingly active role in the growing community independents movement participating in the ‘Voices for’ Australia project.
“Indi 2013 showed me the power of positive engagement and genuine inclusion. I am so pleased to be involved in the writing of this amazing story of how a rural community inspired a political and social movement.”
Lesley Howard
NOTE: The grand finale launch of THE INDI WAY (there have been lots) is in Sydney on Sunday18 June
